Juneteenth Celebration

Hosted by Community Actors Theatre, Saturday, June 17th, 10:30 am - 5 pm at

Gloria’s Mesa Amphitheater (Chollas Lake Park)

6350 College Grove Dr. – San Diego, CA 92115

(About 3-4 blocks right down the hill from Community Actor’s Theatre.)

Various fabulous vendors, absolutely fantastic free entertainment for all ages plus free parking. Join us for a day of Oak Park family fun and learning the history of Juneteenth!  Bring your pillow to sit comfortably on the cement bleachers, cap or sun hat and sunscreen lotion. There will also be an arts & crafts table for the little ones.

 

Juneteenth at UC San Diego Park & Market

A Celebration of Black Art, Music, and Community In Partnership with the County of San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce

This event includes a black-owned business market, a panel discussion on “What does liberation mean in the 21st Century?”, and live music throughout the day. The festivities conclude with a Neo Soul Performance by some of San Diego's best musicians. This free event is open to the public and includes complimentary food and beverages.
